Ahmed came and helped us by installing 3 new light fixtures as well as the wiring to have ceiling fixtures. He was very professional, super friendly and made me feel very comfortable and not as if he was trying to mislead me in any way (which isn't the feeling one often gets with many contractors). I don't know him at all, but it honestly felt like having an uncle or something helping out because he was so friendly. The lights look great! The rate was extremely reasonable. I called a few other companies for quotes, and he was only one who actually came over to look around and see the surroundings, fuse box etc before giving me a free quote. I really appreciated this. Excellent! And now... I can see the light!

This is the second time that I've hired SVET for new lighting. Ahmad wired my living room for pot lights and did some other electrical work around our older house. The job was done on time and the final cost was the same as the estimate, even though we threw in a couple small extras. Can't say enough about how pleased I am with the new lighting, which makes a huge difference, especially at this time of year.

SVET Electric provided outstanding service. I contacted them for an electrical emergency on a Saturday night. I had caused a short circuit in my condo unit while trying to change sockets. They responded to my phone call immediately. They assessed the issue and took me through the necessary steps over the phone. With their help, the issue was temporarily resolved and the power returned in my unit. The electrician, Ahmad, came on-site the following week to install the new sockets and fix the dishwasher that was no longer working after the short circuit. Excellent service. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for any electrical services.

Ahmad is very kind, polite and professional. Although I only had a very small job (installing a motion sensing lightswitch), he was happy to help and show me what I need to do for next time. I'll be calling him again for future work, big or small.

I was very impressed with Ahmad's electrical knowledge and professionalism. We share the same goals on customer service and when it comes to electrical safety during a home inspection I only trust Ahmad when I need a professional opinion. I love working with Ahmad becuase we speak the same engineering lingo, but he has a knack for explaining things to customers, that I can appreciate.

My review will confirm what has already been written by others before me, having experienced myself, through my first dealing with Ahmad, his professional and pleasant personality. The purpose of my call for service was to get an advice/opinion for repairing the front yard lamp post damaged by a falling tree (fixture sheared off the post, wires cut), and an estimate for the work required at a later date. Ahmad arrived the same day, promptly as promised, inspected the damage, secured the wires with nut connectors, taped the post for weatherproofing, thus granting me the leisure to shop for a new fixture and decide when to call back. When I called him a few days later to point out that he had already brought the condition of the lamp post to a state where I can easily finish the repair myself (two wires, connectors, screws) and then asked to pay for the services provided on his initial visit, he firmly but kindly objected, demonstrating the special and exceptional level of service he provides. My sincere thanks to Ahmad with strong recommendations to become new (or continue to be) satisfied customers.

Avid, is a super nice guy and it is obvious he puts his customers first. He has a very patient friendly demeanor and he cares about his clients satisfaction. I would 100% recommend svet electric and use them again.
